I know that craft sale season is coming again. I am wanting to do something new this year but I have no idea what. I have a few things in mind but not sure how they would go over. I am interested in Polymer Clay and fused glass. I also have thought about doing up different themed scrapbooks to where you can buy the scrapbook and just place the pictures in. Not sure how well that would go. I seem to be making the same things every year and need to step it up. I have gotten into several bigger sales this year. I have friends that have done them and have told me to Be prepared. Any ideas anyone? I live in the Buckeye state so OSU stuff at craft shows are every where. I would love to do something in Michigan since that is our big game of the year. Not many do Michigan because they are afraid to. Any one from Michigan do anything special for craft shows?

I have one more craft show to go for this year. Seems like yesterday they were all just starting.
Some of the craft shows were up this year and some were about the same. Hopefully that is a good sign that things maybe starting to improve a little. Already scheduling for next year. Have got responses for some new one for next fall. I am really excited about that. Can't wait to do the new ones. I did a little better with posting pictures of new items but not as good as I had hoped. Soon we will be in a new year and I can try again. Still looking for new ones. I am wanting Spring ones for this next year. If anyone knows of where there are some in and around Marion Ohio let me know.

This is a dress that will fit a 2-4 pound baby. I am going to try and come up with a pair of shoes next for this dress. It looks really springy. The color on my small camera is not quite right. I should have used my bigger camera.

Katelyn needed a skirt for the River Valley musical Bye, Bye Birdie. SO we went to Grandma Bird and asked for help. Here is what we ended up with. She has a crinoline on under this but since then they have decided not to use it so we didn't have to hem it.

I am trying to use what yarn I have before buying more. I have completed a few projects in the last few days. The afghan I sell for $25.oo, The sweater set is $10.00 , both afghan and sweater set that matches together is $30.00. I am not sure if I am going to do booties or mittens to go with the white one.

I do a lot of crocheting and gather a lot of little balls of yarn that isn't usable for much. I can't throw them away so I just keep gathering them in a basket. We I recently was reading in one of the groups I am in about a Magic Ball afghan so I went looking and found the information on how to make them. I started tying my scraps and making new balls and here is what I have so far. They are so much fun. I find it had to believe that 2009 is over. But I am glad that a new year is here to make changes on what didn't go right last year. I had a decent craft show season last year. I hope to make this year a better year. I have a problem with being able to keep up with certain items that I make. I plan on starting today and doing a certain amount of crafts a day. I have a nice sewing machine that I am wanting to get out and start using. I've got a lot of patterns that need something done with them. So far this year in the first 4 months I have baby afghans to make. I am hoping to also do more cakes this year. I will try to keep posted on here my progress. Going to watch the Rose Bowl. GO BUCKS! BEAT THE DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I am never really thrilled with the way my booth looks but I seem to always sale so it must be okay. I am making a few changes on things I make. I have made a lot of 50 cent and a $1.00 items in the past and I am really tired of dealing with all the little things. It takes a lot of little things to make any money. I was at the Rolling Acres Craft show this past weekend. It was a 3 day sale and I did fantastic. This picture was taken Saturday morning. I had sold a lot on Friday but never got a picture before hand. We had 2,ooo in on Friday and 4,ooo on Saturday. I didn't hear a count for Sunday but it was probably like Friday or a little less.

I had my first craft show of the year Saturday at the Kenton Fairgrounds. Crowd was slim but I did really well I think. Not a lot of new stuff that I seen. my next show as of right now is in June. That is always subject to change. I am always getting applications in the mail.

I just finished this doll last night. I am still debating on making something for her head. She is a 5 inch doll. Her dress is made from the size 20 crochet cotton.

Are you looking for a quick gift to give in a card or just as a thank you gift. This is probably one of the quickest gifts to make at the last minute. It is quick and easy. It just takes buttons and paperclips glued together with hot glue make button clips! They can still be used as paperclips. You can get jumbo paper clips at any of your local stores they make great book markers also. You can use a shank button or a button with hole. Lay the paperclip over the middle of the back of the button and add some hot glue. These look really cute with the novelty type buttons too. I have also made them with flowers that you find in the scrapbooking department. The above picture is not made by me but is a picture of what they can look like.

Here we are in the middle of March. I have my first craft show of the season April 4Th. So far I have been working on crocheted towels, pot scrubbers and cotton dish rags. I want to get away from my same things that I make every year. So I am going to take this week and try to get some new ideas. I am wanting to learn how to do tatting. I will keep you updated on my success in learning. I am also looking for a job that I can do from home.
